One of the only issues we’ve seen with our users on WP Engine is connecting the QuickBooks Web Connector to their website after adding the connection file generated from our sync in the WordPress Admin. When clicking Update Selected, if you see an error saying “Authentication Failed,” - you need to contact WP Engine to disable “redirect bots” for your install.

This internal feature in WP Engine automatically redirects connection requests from the QuickBooks Web Connector to an error page and doesn’t allow connection to our sync. Simply contacting WP Engine to disable this feature should resolve the issue for you.
