Syncing orders to QuickBooks with only fulfilled line items

Although MyWorks normally syncs an order into QuickBooks with all the line items in the Shopify order, there are some cases where it's helpful to only sync the fulfilled line items into the QuickBooks order. Examples of scenarios where this is helpful are:

  • The invoice needs to be synced to QuickBooks right away for invoicing/payment purposes.
  • You don't want revenue to be tracked in QuickBooks for items until they're fulfilled in Shopify.
  • Your customers are being billed/charged only when the items in an order ship.    

This is simple to enable in MyWorks by visiting MyWorks Sync > Settings > Order - and enabling the below setting. When enabled, we'll only sync the fulfilled line items in an order to QuickBooks when the order is synced.

As items are updated & fulfilled in the Shopify order, we'll sync updates to the QuickBooks order to reflect these items.
